CPL includes learning acquired from work and life experiences. It is awarded for college-level learning involving knowledge, skills, and competencies that students have obtained which is equivalent to CSU Pueblo course learning outcomes. The following application allows students to apply for CSU Pueblo credit based on their work and life experiences through creating a portfolio that includes their resume, a copy of the course syllabus, if applicable, a statement about their prior learning, and any evidence necessary to demonstrate their experience (certificates, letters of recommendation, copies of work product, etc.).
This portfolio is then reviewed by a faculty member in the department for which you are applying for credit. Please allow up to 10 business days for your application to be reviewed by the department and a decision to be rendered.
